Backup and Recover your entire system for free! with Paragon Backup & RecoveryTM 10.2 Free Edition Introduction: Backup and recovery of computer systems can be a complex and specialist area - that's why we provide professional services. The purpose of this guide however, is to provide our supporters with a simple but very effective set- and-forget method of implementing a backup and recovery solution for their computer system. Thanks to Paragon Software and this guide, all that's required from you is an investment of your time to put the process in place. About Paragon Backup & RecoveryTM 10.2 Free Edition: If you were fortunate enough to acquire and register a copy of the Paragon Backup & Recovery 10.x offering when they were actively promoting it as a free give-away, then this guide is for you. We considered this an excellent product, and largely complete as a backup management solution for the home user. Unfortunately, the latest free version on offer from Paragon appears to have had one important feature dropped, that being Cyclic Backup support or automated backup retention and management. We can only assume this feature remains available in their paid-for products and recommend you check them out. This guide: Is being provided in 4 parts and will be made available as time permits. The guide is being offered here as a free service to our supporters. A significant amount of time and effort has been put in to bring you this solution and it is known to work. We cannot however accept liability for any consequential loss of data or your system as a result of you using this guide. Please follow all instructions carefully and ensure you have a point of recovery to return to in case you encounter difficulties when implementing this process. If you (our supporters) require any assistance, we will endeavour to respond. However as this is provided as a free goodwill offering, we do not guarantee support on this. Contact would be via our webmail interface on the Contact Us page. We trust you find this guide useful and welcome any positive feedback. - The Backup & Running team. Ps. In case you didn't know, Paragon Software have on-going free offerings available from their website but a link can be hard to find. Take a peek here: http://www.paragon-software.com/free/ |
